This is a night Registered Veterinary Nurse role at Medivet Woodstock 24 Hour Hospital in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The rota is 7 nights on and 14 nights off, with shifts from 7:45pm to 7:45am.
You’ll be working in a busy hospital environment with a varied caseload, caring for inpatients and emergency cases overnight. During your week of nights, you’ll work alongside another member of the Woodstock night nursing team, with a Woodstock vet on site and two support nurses on call.
The role is well suited to an RVN who enjoys hospital nursing, emergency and critical care, and providing high quality out of hours care. Previous ECC experience would be welcomed, although the practice is also interested in hearing from RVNs who want to develop in a hospital setting.
Medivet Woodstock 24 Hour Hospital is a busy veterinary hospital in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, on the edge of the Cotswolds. The practice provides high quality, honest veterinary care for pets day and night.
The hospital has recently been refurbished and includes a CT scanner and digital X ray facilities. It is led by two long-standing Branch Partners and has four established night vets working on a 1 week on, 3 weeks off rota. The team is described as long standing, fun, collaborative and welcoming.
