About the Role

This is a genuine partnership opportunity where you'll become a co-owner of Medivet Cowbridge and Medivet Llantwit Major practices. Rather than climbing the traditional employment ladder, you'll combine clinical leadership with the freedom of ownership while benefiting from Medivet's commercial, operational, and strategic support.

Located in the affluent market town of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, about 12 miles west of Cardiff, the main clinic serves a stable and dedicated client base committed to high-quality veterinary care. The Llantwit Major clinic is a smaller consult-only practice currently operating part-time, with staff travelling from Cowbridge to maintain consistency. Both clinics are scheduled for refurbishment and new signage. Llantwit Major is just 8 minutes' drive from the stunning Llantwit Major beach, making this an excellent location for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your practice team while continuing hands-on clinical care
• Provide outstanding, compassionate veterinary care to dogs, cats, and small animals
• Shape the strategic direction and growth of your practice within the Medivet partnership framework
• Build and maintain exceptional client experiences and relationships
• Develop and mentor team members to create a high-performing culture
• Work collaboratively across both Cowbridge and Llantwit Major locations

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (RCVS registered)
• Passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care
• Genuine care for the difference you make to patients and their owners
• Ambition to build and grow a successful practice
• Leadership mindset and desire to develop a strong team
• Previous leadership experience not essential; the right attitude and drive matter most
