This is a full-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon position with Midforest Veterinary Practice in West Totton, Hampshire. The role is worked across four 10-hour days, with Saturday mornings on a 1:5 rota from 8:30am to 12:30pm, and there are no out-of-hours or on-call commitments.
You will be joining a friendly first-opinion team where you can follow your own cases, build relationships with clients and their pets, and develop your clinical interests with support around you. The caseload includes cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, with a busy dentistry mix and plenty of variety across consultations, surgery and medical work-ups.
The role also involves working across two practices, Totton and Lyndhurst, with access to modern facilities and the wider support of an experienced team.
Midforest Veterinary Practice is part of inspiring vet care and IVC. The practice has been part of the local community for over 40 years and works across two sites, Totton and Lyndhurst.
The team includes four Veterinary Surgeons, six experienced RVNs and a dedicated Client Care Team. Certificate holders in ultrasound and dentistry are already part of the team, and the practice is equipped with digital and dental radiography, ultrasound and a fully equipped in-house laboratory.
