About the Role

Mimram Veterinary Centre is looking for a dedicated RVN to become part of their supportive small animal team in the picturesque village of Old Welwyn. This is a genuine part-time position—24 hours per week spread across 3 days—with Saturday cover on a relaxed 1-in-6 rota and absolutely no out-of-hours or on-call commitments. You’ll work in a modern, RCVS-accredited practice with ISFM Silver Cat Friendly status, where high clinical standards and exceptional customer care are the norm, not a stretch.

The practice sits in a beautiful village location with easy access to London (just over an hour away) and surrounded by lovely outdoor spaces including Mardley Heath and the historic Welwyn Roman Baths. The team is genuinely friendly and welcoming—the kind of place where you’ll actually want to come to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care across a range of small animal cases
• Support the clinical team in theatre and consultation settings
• Contribute to the practice’s high clinical and customer service standards
• Work as part of a small, supportive nursing team

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification (RCVS registered)
