You'll be the first point of contact for pets and owners who really need support, working on a busy reception at PDSA Gateshead. This part-time temporary role offers 17.5 hours per week and includes a varied shift pattern covering weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
Your day will involve processing clients attending the hospital, handling telephone enquiries, encouraging appropriate financial contributions and maintaining accurate PDSA paperwork and records. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, staying calm under pressure while delivering sympathetic and courteous customer service that makes people feel listened to and supported from the moment they arrive or call.
