This full-time permanent position offers the chance to step into clinical leadership at PDSA Huyton, a vibrant out-of-hours site in Liverpool serving pets and families in financial hardship. You'll work alongside a supportive, collaborative team that values open case discussion and shared learning, leading part of the nursing team while supporting the Head Nurse.
As Team Leader, you'll oversee Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants across theatre, inpatient care, and consults, ensuring smooth workflows and consistently high clinical standards. You'll be the approachable, coaching-focused leader who sets the tone for excellence, helps embed Pet Wellbeing services focused on prevention and education, and steps in to deputise for the Head Nurse when needed. The role combines direct clinical work with mentoring and operational leadership in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
