Weekend rota approximately 1 in 7-8 weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm). Weekday daytime shifts only (8:30am to 6:00pm maximum).
This is a part-time temporary position (6 months) offering a fast-paced environment with a diverse caseload of routine appointments and daytime emergency cases. You'll develop your emergency and critical care skills while managing a rewarding surgical workload, working across a modern, well-equipped hospital with separate dog and cat facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and piped gases.
Weekday shifts run between 8:30am and 6:00pm, with a weekend rota of approximately 1 in 7-8 weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm). The practice values work-life balance and rarely overruns shifts; any additional time is returned as time off in lieu. You'll work alongside experienced veterinary surgeons, RVNs, VCAs and reception staff who are utilised to the height of their skills.
