Join PDSA Leeds as a Veterinary Surgeon Team Leader and take clinical governance responsibility for a highly collaborative, modern hospital. You'll lead the veterinary surgeon team to deliver efficient, professional and caring service to pets and owners across the local community, with one protected day per week dedicated to team development, leadership and clinical improvement initiatives. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week within hospital opening hours of 8:30am to 6:00pm, with participation in a 1-in-7 weekend and bank holiday rota (time off in lieu and enhanced pay provided).
You'll be supported by a wider leadership network including the Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Head Nurse, Client Services Manager and Veterinary Nurse Team Leader. The hospital is modern and well-equipped with separate dog and cat kennelling, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment. You'll have access to a wide pool of clinical knowledge and varied interests across the team for robust case discussion and shared learning.
