1:4 weekend rota with Saturday and Sunday 8-hour shifts. Flexible scheduling available—discuss shift patterns directly with the practice.
This is a permanent position based primarily at Walkden and Worsley, with occasional cover at the Salford branch. You’ll work across a thriving multi-site veterinary group comprising a state-of-the-art 24-hour hospital, a fully refurbished first-opinion practice, and a dedicated consulting branch. The role offers genuine flexibility on shift patterns—you can discuss arrangements to suit your lifestyle, typically working 1–4 days per week with Saturday and Sunday 8-hour shifts on a 1:4 weekend rota.
You’ll be part of a 37-strong veterinary team where many hold or are working towards certificates. Case continuity is a priority, and you’ll manage cases from start to finish. The team includes Certificate holders across emergency and critical care, surgery, medicine, imaging, dermatology, dentistry, ophthalmology, cardiology, and clinical pathology—meaning specialist support is always on hand for complex cases.
If you’re interested in developing expertise in behaviour, reproduction, or emergency and critical care, there’s real scope to shape your role around these interests.
