This is an opportunity for an ECVO or ACVO Diplomate in Veterinary Ophthalmology to join the established and growing referral team at Pride Veterinary Referrals in Derby. You will manage a varied ophthalmology caseload, deliver high-level patient care and work closely with colleagues across a multidisciplinary hospital.
The role covers routine and complex ophthalmic cases, with the chance to focus on clinical interests such as complex surgical ophthalmology, medical ophthalmology, teaching or service development. It is a specialist environment with scope to contribute to mentoring, supervision, case discussion and CPD for veterinary professionals.
Pride Veterinary Referrals is a large, purpose-built multidisciplinary referral hospital in Derby and part of the Scarsdale Veterinary Group. The hospital provides specialist-led services in anaesthesia and analgesia, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, neurology, oncology and ophthalmology, alongside advanced practitioner-led cardiology and rehabilitation.
Its facilities include 13 consultation rooms, seven hospital wards, five operating theatres, a dedicated cardiology suite, CT and MRI, interventional radiology, endoscopy, hydrotherapy and an in-house laboratory.
