This is a unique opportunity to take on an additional Clinical Lead role within an established leadership team at a well-respected six-site small animal practice in Essex. You'll combine hands-on clinical work with a genuine leadership remit, shaping clinical direction and supporting less experienced colleagues across all sites. The role has been created to strengthen leadership capacity as the practice continues to grow.
You'll enjoy a varied caseload of dogs, cats, small furries, and wildlife, working 40 hours over four days with shifts from 8am to a 6:30pm last appointment. The rota includes one in five Saturday mornings and one in eight emergency day cover for the practice's own clients only. There's no on-call requirement, and your weekend working is balanced with extra time off, allowing up to five consecutive rest days. The practice operates across six clinics with a dedicated Witham Hospital site offering separate cat and dog areas, three theatres, full diagnostic facilities, and purpose-built wards.
