About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to become a practice owner with Vets for Pets' flexible ownership model. You'll have full clinical and operational autonomy to shape your practice, define your clinical protocols, build client relationships, and create the team culture you want. The new St Neots practice is a blank canvas: a state-of-the-art facility within an established Pet Care Centre, complete with three consult rooms, prep area and theatre, X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, separate cat and dog wards, isolation ward, and fully branded reception. The practice could be operational within 6 to 12 months.

Located in St Neots, a thriving market town in Cambridgeshire along the River Great Ouse, the practice sits within easy reach of Cambridge, Milton Keynes, and Bedford. The Pet Care Centre location provides an immediate stream of potential clients and a foot-in-the-door for new pet owners in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical decision-making and establish your own practice protocols without corporate direction
• Manage client relationships and build your practice reputation within the local community
• Oversee operational and financial management of the practice, including recruitment and team culture
• Work with Vets for Pets' support teams on recruitment, finance, payroll, IT, marketing, and HR
• Build and grow a profitable business from launch

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (MRCVS)
• Experienced veterinary professional with ambition to own and run a practice
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to invest in your practice ownership
