This is a fantastic opportunity to join The Oak Veterinary Group as an experienced veterinary surgeon in their busy small animal practice. Based primarily at the modern Haverfordwest surgery, you'll work across three practice locations nestled along the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, with genuine flexibility built into your rota. Weekday shifts run 8:30am to 7:00pm with up to an hour for lunch and rotational late cover, while Saturday shifts are 8:30am to 1:30pm on rotation.
You'll be part of a collaborative, values-led team where professional development is genuinely prioritised. The practice has invested significantly in modern facilities including surgery, dentistry, internal laboratory, ultrasound, radiography, and endoscopy. The Fishguard branch offers a unique hydrotherapy service with an aquatic treadmill, plus physiotherapy, laser therapy, and vet-led acupuncture delivered by qualified specialists. You'll have the support of an advanced practitioner in small animal surgery who handles complex cases, allowing you to develop your own skillset across orthopaedic and soft tissue work.
This is a full-time, part-time, or job share role with flexible patterns to support real work-life balance. The practice offers out-of-hours provision through external services and in-patient care support.
