About the Role

This is a dedicated nights position at Valley Veterinary Hospital, a busy multi-disciplinary 24/7 facility serving South Wales since the 1940s. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts on a 7-on-7-off rota (averaging 42 hours per week), giving you genuine work-life balance and extended stretches off to recharge. You’ll be part of a large, collaborative team of vets, RVNs, animal care assistants, and reception staff providing seamless emergency and critical care to the hospital’s own patients and referrals from local practices.

This role demands experienced, confident RVNs who can work independently and provide advanced nursing care to critical patients. You’ll encounter a diverse caseload of both medical and surgical cases, with access to exceptional facilities and the support of a stable team—many of whom have been at Valley Vets between 10 and 30 years.

The practice is located in Gwaelod-y-garth, Glamorgan, putting you within reach of vibrant Cardiff or the natural beauty of the Vale of Glamorgan and Brecon Beacons.
