This fixed-term opportunity is for an experienced farm veterinary surgeon joining Damory Vets in Blandford for 12 months. The caseload is varied and includes dairy and beef cattle, along with plenty of small ruminant work.
The rota is built around a 4 day week, a 1:4 OOH rota and a long weekend every 4 weeks. The practice says it values clinical freedom, so you'll be supported to work to a high standard while managing a broad farm caseload.
You'll also be part of a supportive team at Damory Vets and connected to the wider VetPartners network, with opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, CPD and career development.
Damory Vets is part of VetPartners and the role is based at Damory Veterinary Clinic in Blandford, Dorset. The practice says it offers clinical freedom and is well equipped with ultrasound scanners, bull and ram fertility testing, an in-house laboratory, a mobile foot crush and X ray.
The farm team includes 4 vets and 1 TB tester, and the wider VetPartners network includes other specialist large animal practices.
