Mixed Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

You'll enjoy a genuinely varied caseload with a busy small animal component, alongside farm and equine work. This is a 4-day working week role (part-time considered) based in beautiful Mid Devon, where the practice is equally committed to the quality of patient care and the wellbeing of its team. The practice is especially keen to hear from vets interested in developing farm and equine services.

CPD is actively encouraged with a generous allowance, and professional fees and subscriptions are paid for. You'll be part of a collaborative team where learning and skill development are genuinely supported, whatever stage of your career you're at.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care across small animal, farm, and equine cases
• Participate in the practice's own out-of-hours rota with RVN support where needed, enjoying a long weekend off after every weekend on call
• Contribute to a supportive, team-focused practice environment
• Continue clinical development with full backing from the practice

Requirements

• Confident and experienced Veterinary Surgeon
• Interest in all areas of mixed practice (farm, equine, and small animal)
• Enthusiastic, team-focused approach and keen to continue learning
• Ambition to develop clinically
