This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave at Natterjacks' RCVS accredited Poole practice, starting September or October 2026. You'll work full-time (38 hours per week) with Saturday mornings only (8am to 1pm) and absolutely no out-of-hours or night-shift commitments, giving you genuine control over your work-life balance. The practice is minutes from the sea in picturesque Dorset, with easy access to the Jurassic Coast, countryside, and the New Forest.
This small animal practice is equipped with modern facilities including an in-house CT scanner, serving a busy and engaged client base. Your role will be varied and hands-on, drawing on the full scope of your RVN qualification. The team is genuinely friendly and supportive, with a strong culture of collaboration between vets and nurses.
Natterjacks Vet operates two small animal sites in Poole and Bournemouth, both close to the beach and within the VetPartners group. The practice is RCVS accredited and equipped with modern diagnostic equipment including an in-house CT scanner. The team is diverse in experience levels, backgrounds, and interests, with a strong emphasis on both professional excellence and genuine friendship.
