This is a newly created Senior Veterinary Surgeon position supporting and working alongside the E-Vets night team at a recently refurbished hospital in Edinburgh. The role sits within Braid Vets and is focused on emergency, hospital and surgical care for in-patients.
You will be working as part of an experienced emergency team, with support from Braid colleagues including certificate holders in internal medicine, surgery, ECC and ophthalmology. The post is full time, averages 40 hours per week, and has core working hours of 6pm to 10pm. Flexible working is available.
Sole charge experience and surgical confidence are required. A relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable but not essential, and there may also be additional management opportunities for the right candidate.
This role is with E-Vets (Braid) at Mayfield Road in Edinburgh, part of the VetPartners family. The hospital is recently refurbished and the emergency team is supported by the wider Braid team, including colleagues with certificates in internal medicine, surgery, ECC and ophthalmology.
