This is a 12 month fixed term Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon role within Wood Veterinary Group’s recently redeveloped RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic in Gloucester. The setting combines modern facilities with advanced diagnostics and a large multidisciplinary veterinary team.
You’ll be based mainly at the main hospital, with potential branch consulting, and the role is open to all experience levels. The rota includes 40 hours per week, full-time and part-time applications, 1 in 4 or 2 in 8 weekends, and time off in lieu is provided. There is no out-of-hours requirement.
The hospital environment includes a 20-vet team, four operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite, an imaging suite, a new CT scanner and an in-house laboratory with dedicated technicians. You’ll also have support from certificate holders and vets with a range of clinical interests.
Wood Veterinary Group’s Quedgeley Practice is part of VetPartners and operates from a recently refurbished, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital and emergency services clinic in Gloucester. The hospital refurbishment was completed in November 2024.
