This is a full-time veterinary surgeon position offering a genuine mix of consultations and surgery across a busy, supportive small animal practice. You'll work a 38-hour week compressed into 4 days, giving you real breathing space outside work. The role spans multiple sites within the group, with one operating shift at the main Temple House location, a combined shift at Beeston, and consulting work at Temple House, creating variety and the chance to build strong client relationships across the practice.
You'll be joining a clinical team of 12 veterinary surgeons, many with advanced certificates and special interests, alongside an experienced group of veterinary nurses and receptionists who genuinely collaborate. The practice is modern and well-equipped, hosts final-year Surrey Veterinary School students, and maintains a structured rota that prioritises team welfare. Saturdays occur roughly 1 in 5 or 6 (8.30am to 6.30pm), with a compensatory day off either before or after. Crucially, there are no Sunday shifts and no out-of-hours commitments.
