About the Role

This Practice Owner opportunity is built for an experienced veterinary professional who wants to run their own practice with structured support around them. The role sits within the Vets for Pets ownership model, giving you the freedom to shape clinical direction, client relationships and team culture while still having access to brand recognition, guidance and financial support.

The practice is a new beginning in Clitheroe, a picturesque market town in the Ribble Valley. It will be located within an existing Pet Care Centre, with the practice expected to be up and running within 6 to 12 months. You will also be part of a wider community of fellow practitioners and business owners who share experience and support one another.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the practice and set the clinical and operational direction.
• Define how the practice develops its client relationships and team culture.
• Work with the support teams to recruit, manage finances and handle payroll.
• Help establish the new practice and build its client base and reputation in the local community.
• Shape the practice within the available 1,400 sq. ft space, which is planned to include consult rooms, prep and theatre facilities, imaging, pharmacy, laboratory, wards, an isolation ward, an office and a branded reception area.

• You must be an experienced veterinary professional.
• You should be ready to take on practice ownership.
• You should be comfortable with the responsibilities that come with running your own business.

About the Practice

This opportunity is with Clitheroe Vets under the Vets for Pets ownership model. The new practice will be based in Clitheroe, Lancashire, within an existing Pet Care Centre that is described as a first stop for many new pet owners.

The planned practice layout includes three consult rooms, a prep area and theatre, an X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas, an isolation ward, an office and a fully branded reception area.
