About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to establish and lead your own veterinary practice within the Vets for Pets network—a UK-wide group of over 440 locally owned practices. You’ll have complete control over clinical direction, team composition, and service offerings, whilst benefiting from comprehensive operational and financial backing from the wider network.

The new Harrow practice launches fully equipped with modern facilities and sits in a thriving suburban location with strong demographic appeal. You’ll enjoy a two-year loan repayment holiday to establish operations, after which you’ll earn 100% profit through twice-annual dividends. This is ownership with genuine support, not isolation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical strategy and set standards for the practice
• Build and manage your veterinary team (hiring, training, culture)
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and case management
• Shape service offerings and specialist areas aligned with local demand
• Drive client relationships and community presence
• Work with the Vets for Pets support team on property, finance, HR, marketing, and systems

Requirements

• Veterinary degree and full registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
• Proven clinical experience and leadership capability
• Entrepreneurial mindset with vision for building a practice
• Willingness to invest: £20,000 for sole ownership or £15,000 per partner for joint ownership
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, community-focused veterinary care

About the Practice

The new Harrow practice currently has plans for 3 consult rooms, X-ray, operating theatre, pharmacy, laboratory, preparation area, separate cat and dog wards, an isolation ward, separate cat and dog waiting areas, fully branded reception area and an office.
