About the Role

Vets for Pets is offering an opportunity to become a Practice Owner for a brand-new practice in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is a chance to shape your own clinic, with clinical and operational autonomy over the way the practice develops, the client relationships you build and the culture you create.

The ownership model includes support from the start, alongside a community of fellow practitioners and business owners. The practice is planned for Lyme Green Business Park, within an existing Pet Care Centre, in a thriving market town on the edge of the Peak District, with access to Manchester and the surrounding areas.

The new site will be transformed into a single-floor 1,400 sq. ft practice with three consult rooms, a prep area and theatre, X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas, an isolation ward, office and a fully branded reception area. The practice could be up and running within 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a brand-new small animal practice in Macclesfield.
• Set the clinical direction, client relationships and team culture for the practice.
• Use the support offered to recruit, manage finances and payroll, and access IT, marketing and HR services.
• Work within the practice ownership model, including the revenue share arrangement with the partnership team.
• Help establish the practice as part of the local community and build its client base and reputation.

Requirements

• You should be an experienced veterinary professional.
• You should be ready to take on practice ownership and the responsibilities that come with running your own business.
• You should be comfortable working with the support structure provided through the ownership model.
