About the Role

This is a practice ownership opportunity designed for experienced veterinary professionals who want to run their own practice with complete clinical and operational freedom. You will establish a brand-new small animal practice within an existing Pet Care Centre, positioning you to attract new pet owners while building your client base and reputation within the local community.

As practice owner, you have full control over your clinical protocols, client relationships, team culture, and business direction. You'll take a salary from day one, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care while your practice grows. The setup is strategically supported to get you operational within 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical decision-making and set medical protocols for your practice
• Build and manage your veterinary team and practice culture
• Develop client relationships and grow your patient base
• Manage day-to-day operational and financial performance of the practice
• Work with dedicated support teams for HR, IT, marketing and finance administration

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (MRCVS or equivalent)
• Experienced in veterinary practice and clinical work
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to build a successful practice
• Investment of £20,000 for sole ownership (or split equally with co-owners; remaining finance arranged via partner banks)

About the Practice

This opportunity is offered by Vets for Pets, which operates an innovative practice ownership model. Each new practice will be housed within an existing Pet Care Centre, providing immediate access to a customer base of pet owners. The practice will be equipped with three consulting rooms, preparation area and theatre, X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, separate cat and dog wards, isolation ward, office and fully branded reception area.

Practices are available across eight locations: Carmarthen, Clitheroe, Haverfordwest, Macclesfield, Malvern, Newhaven, St Neots and Wokingham. The model is designed to give you true clinical freedom while providing expert guidance, brand recognition and financial support to help you establish and grow a valuable practice asset.
