About the Role

This is a Practice Owner opportunity with Vets for Pets in Wokingham, where you will be supported to build and run your own practice while retaining clinical and operational autonomy. The model is designed for experienced veterinary professionals who want to shape their own clinical journey, client relationships and team culture.

You will be opening a brand-new practice in Wokingham, a sought-after market town in Berkshire with good transport links and easy reach of Reading, London and Guildford. The practice will be based within an existing Pet Care Centre and is planned to be up and running within 6 to 12 months.

The space will be fitted out as a modern practice with three consult rooms, a prep area and theatre, X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas, an isolation ward, office and a fully branded reception area.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the clinical and operational direction of your own practice.
• Define the practice culture, client relationships and the way the practice is run.
• Work with the support teams to recruit, manage finances and payroll, and develop the business.
• Build the practice brand, client base and reputation within the local community.
• Plan for the long term value of the practice, including future exit and sale options.
