About the Role

You’ll be joining East Kilbride Vets4Pets as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, a thriving small animal practice positioned on the edge of Glasgow with easy access to the East Kilbride Retail Park. This is a full-time role with Saturdays on a fair rotating rota—no Sundays or out-of-hours duties required, giving you genuine work-life balance.

The practice has invested in excellent facilities and equipment, so you’ll have everything you need to deliver outstanding patient care. Importantly, a dedicated team of receptionists handles client-facing work, freeing you to focus entirely on your nursing responsibilities and clinical development. You’ll be working alongside talented colleagues who share a passion for animal welfare and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care across a busy small animal caseload (dogs, cats, small pets)
• Support surgical and medical procedures using modern practice equipment
• Manage patient care and welfare throughout their time at the practice
• Develop and utilise your full clinical potential within a supportive environment
• Contribute to a high standard of patient care and customer service
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary team and reception staff

Requirements

• Current RVN registration (UK)
• Genuine experience in veterinary nursing
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to animal welfare and quality care
• Ability to work as part of a team
