No out-of-hours duties, no weekends. Daytime hours only with flexible full-time or part-time options (20–40 hours per week).
This is a flexible opportunity to join a thriving small animal practice in Sevenoaks where your clinical skills and compassion are genuinely valued. You’ll work 20–40 hours per week—no weekends, no out-of-hours duties—giving you the work-life balance that increasingly hard-to-find in veterinary nursing. The practice actively encourages RVNs to lead nurse clinics and develop their clinical expertise, whether you’re progressing toward registration or already qualified and ready for the next step.
You’ll be part of a compact, supportive team of 3 vets, 2 RVNs, 3 VCAs and 3 receptionists all pulling in the same direction. The environment is collaborative and development-focused—the practice is explicit about supporting career progression for SVNs moving toward RVN status, as well as experienced RVNs looking to step up into leadership or specialist roles.
Vets for Pets Sevenoaks is a progressive small animal practice committed to providing superb standards of client and animal care. The team is diverse, supportive and actively invested in colleague development—whether you’re early in your nursing career or looking to move into leadership. The practice is part of Vets for Pets, a network of veterinary practices owned by Pets at Home, giving access to resources and training opportunities within a larger organisation while maintaining a strong local identity and culture.
The practice actively champions flexible working and work-life balance, reflecting a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing and retention. Career progression is real here—the blogs and testimonials from the company show a strong track record of supporting nurses into JVP (Joint Venture Partner) and leadership roles.
