Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly opened Vets for Pets practice in Horsham as the first point of contact for clients and their pets. You'll play a key role in shaping the practice culture and helping to create a positive, supportive team environment from day one.

The practice is being established by two experienced veterinary surgeons, Elena and Andrei, who are committed to building a collaborative, high-quality clinical environment where colleagues, clients, and pets all feel valued. This is a full-time or part-time position offering flexibility around shift patterns to support a healthy work and life balance. Some weekend work will be required, but there are no out-of-hours duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming first point of contact for all clients, creating a positive and professional experience
• Deliver exceptional client care while supporting the highest standards of patient care
• Manage the online booking system and appointment scheduling confidently
• Greet clients warmly and provide clear, accurate information about services and guidance
• Handle payments and process transactions
• Build strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the wider clinical team
• Act as a key link between clients and the clinical team
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using strong computer skills and organisational abilities
