Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This Veterinary Receptionist role is based at Vets for Pets Romford, with shifts also required at the Gallows practice as part of a dual practice setup. The rota is full time or part time, includes 1 in 4 weekends, and is made up of a mix of early mornings and late shifts rather than a fixed pattern.

You will be the first point of contact for clients and a key link between them and the clinical team, helping to keep the day running smoothly while delivering a welcoming, organised service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets and provide a friendly first point of contact.
• Support clients during their visit and help deliver a positive experience.
• Manage payments and future bookings confidently.
• Use the online booking system to coordinate day to day practice activity.
• Work closely with the clinical team and colleagues across both Romford practices.

Requirements

• Previous veterinary experience is essential or previous receptionist experience is essential.
• Computer literacy is required for online booking and practice administration.
• You should be calm, attentive, and focused on client needs.
• You will need to be flexible across early mornings, late shifts, and 1 in 4 weekends.

About the Practice
