Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This is a client-facing veterinary reception role with Vets for Pets in Romford, supporting both the Romford practice and the Romford Gallows practice. You'll be part of a team that acts as the link between clients and the clinical team, helping to keep the day running smoothly.

The rota is full time or part time, with 1 in 4 weekends. Shifts vary across the working day, including early mornings and late shifts, so flexibility is needed rather than a fixed pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets and provide a welcoming first point of contact.
• Support clients with guidance, service information and general assistance during their visit.
• Manage payments and future bookings.
• Use the online booking system to help coordinate the day to day running of the practice.
• Work across both the Romford and Gallows practices when required.

Requirements

• Strong client service and teamwork skills.
• Confidence building relationships with clients, pets and colleagues.
• Calm, attentive and focused on client needs.
• Enthusiasm, drive and a friendly personality.
• Computer literacy.
• Veterinary or receptionist experience is preferable but not essential.
