This is a Veterinary Surgeon opportunity in a standalone practice in Alsager, where you will have real scope to shape your working week and enjoy a better work life balance. The rota is flexible, with full-time and part-time hours available, ideally across Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, though these days are open to discussion.
Saturdays are mornings only, from 9am to 12pm, and are worked on a 1 in 4 basis. There are no Sundays and no out of hours, so the role is built around sustainable clinical work. You will work alongside the owner, Carl, with decisions made quickly and your views taken into account.
The practice is a standalone surgery on the main street in Alsager, Cheshire. It is described as light and spacious, with digital x-ray, ultrasound, BP measurement and in-house laboratory facilities.
Carl, an RVN who qualified in 1995, runs the practice locally. The team includes 3 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 receptionists, and the practice also has a vet with a special interest in exotics. Regular team days out are part of the culture, and the practice is recognised as a certified Autism Friendly Surgery.
