This is a part-time small animal Veterinary Surgeon role in Cornwall, with a rota of 2 to 3 days a week, no OOH and just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 9am to 12.30pm. Consults are 15 minutes as standard, with 30 minutes available when needed, and there is time built in for admin, lunch and regular clinical meetings.
You’ll have ownership of your own caseload, with the support of a collaborative team and the freedom to investigate cases locally. The practice encourages you to develop specific clinical interests, and certification is supported and fully funded.
The role is based at Camborne Vets4Pets in Cornwall, a purpose-built practice with its own parking and a spacious, well set out clinical environment. It is run locally by Raul, who is supported by three additional vets, an experienced nurse team with over 50 years’ combined experience, a longstanding practice manager called Tracey and a client care advisor team.
The practice says it has a loyal client base with room to grow, and that cases can be worked up locally. It also notes that Raul qualified in Cordoba, moved to the UK in 2007 and became the owner of Camborne Vets4Pets in 2016. He holds an AVP certificate in surgery and has a special interest in orthopaedics and minimally invasive surgery.
