Chippenham Vets for Pets is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, established team. The role is open to vets who are recently graduated and building confidence, as well as experienced clinicians seeking their next challenge.
The practice offers full-time or part-time hours with flexibility around working patterns where possible. You will also work a shared Saturday and Bank Holiday rota, with no out-of-hours requirements.
The setting is designed to support a good clinical flow, with 15-minute routine consultations, 30-minute appointments for more complex cases, protected admin time, one-hour lunch breaks, and morning and afternoon tea breaks. The practice also works with visiting specialists, giving you access to a broader range of cases.
Chippenham Vets for Pets is a purpose-built practice in Wiltshire with three consulting rooms, a dedicated colleague office and kitchen area, and a team that includes 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, 4 Client Care Advisors, and a dedicated Practice Manager.
The practice has a loyal client base and a caseload that is worked up locally where possible. Visiting support is provided by RATA Specialists, who cover orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology and ultrasonography, along with Insight Veterinary Specialists for ultrasonography support.
