No out-of-hours or Sunday working required
This is a full-time permanent position with a practice that's just undergone a large refurbishment and is actively growing. You'll work daytime only with no out-of-hours or Sunday commitments, allowing you to maintain genuine work-life balance. Whether you're a new graduate looking for your first role, an experienced vet keen to progress further, or someone wanting to mentor colleagues, the practice is open to discussing how they can support your next career move.
The team consists of vets ranging from 5 to 20+ years post-graduation, who enjoy collaborative case discussion. One colleague has a special interest in regenerative medicine, and the practice offers expertise in orthopaedics, internal medicine, and cardiology. You'll be supported by an outstanding nursing team of 11 RVNs (including 2 with Schedule 3 certificates) and an experienced front-of-house team committed to smooth daily operations.
Vets for Pets is an established small animal practice with a 3.5-vet team and a commitment to being community vets. The practice maintains a loyal and friendly client base with a good proportion of insured pets, allowing them to keep cases in-house where appropriate. Following a recent large refurbishment, the practice continues to grow and actively welcomes talent from the local area.
The practice is committed to diversity and inclusion, encouraging people from all walks of life to bring their authentic selves to work. They recognise that candidates' skills and experience may not perfectly align on paper, but value unique contributions shaped by personal values and behaviours.
