This weekend-only ECC position offers genuine flexibility within a structured rota. You'll work one of three patterns: Saturday and Sunday evenings (18:00-00:00) on a 1:2 rota, Sunday daytime (08:30-18:30) on a 1:2 rota, or a combination including shared bank holidays. Whether you're picking up weekend hours to supplement other work or deepening your emergency and critical care skills, this role adapts to your needs.
You'll join Vets Now Wolverhampton, which provides out-of-hours emergency care for dogs, cats and small animals. The team works nights, weekends and bank holidays to support sick and injured animals when their owners need help most. The culture here emphasises that out-of-hours work doesn't mean all-consuming hours; experienced ECC clinicians lead mentoring and training, and central support teams handle complaints and customer service, leaving you to focus on clinical work.
