You’ll join Vets Now’s highly skilled emergency team in Portsmouth, working every Friday night from 19:00 to 08:30. This dedicated out-of-hours position offers the perfect balance for nurses keen to deepen their emergency and critical care knowledge whilst maintaining flexibility—whether you’re looking for additional income, balancing family commitments, or building specialist experience. The role is part of Vets Now’s 60+ UK clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals, giving you exposure to a diverse caseload across the night shift.
As part of an established emergency service, you’ll be at the heart of clinical treatment. The nursing team here drives first aid assessment, critical care monitoring, diagnostics, and post-operative care. You’ll work in a collaborative, supportive environment where your clinical judgment is valued and your development actively encouraged.
