Vets Now is opening a new out-of-hours emergency clinic in Bridgwater, hosted within IVC Blake Vets. You'll join as Head/Lead Veterinary Surgeon, taking the clinical helm of a collaborative team dedicated to emergency and critical care. This full-time role averages 40 hours per week across approximately 3 shifts weekly, with flexibility available if clinic requirements allow part-time arrangements.
The clinic is fitted with top-tier equipment including dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopy, giving you excellent tools to deliver quality care. The rota includes weeknights and a 1 in 2 weekend pattern (mix of nights and days), with no more than three consecutive nights and protected time for leadership duties. Bridgwater itself offers good recreational attractions and accessible transport links, making it a practical base for work-life balance.
Vets Now is opening its Bridgwater out-of-hours emergency service in partnership with host practice IVC Blake Vets. The clinic operates as an ECC facility, open for emergency and critical care when primary practices are closed. It is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical equipment to deliver high-standard care in time-critical situations.
