Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This part-time Veterinary Receptionist role is based at Vets Now Coventry, supporting clients and veterinary staff during emergency situations. The rota includes every Monday and Tuesday from 18:00 to 22:00, plus Sundays from 08:30 to 18:00, along with a fair share of bank holidays.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, helping to keep things calm, organised and reassuring when pets need urgent care. The role also involves handling administration, booking appointments, processing financial transactions and keeping veterinary colleagues updated.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients, answer calls and act as the first point of contact in emergency situations.
• Book appointments and handle financial transactions.
• Carry out clinic administration accurately to support the smooth running of the service.
• Update veterinary staff about patients en route and clients who need assistance.
• Provide a friendly, reassuring presence for clients and act as a link between clients and veterinary professionals.
