Vets Now Manchester is looking for a Diplomate or residency-trained Surgeon to help support and grow its referral surgery caseload. The work spans soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, with the team also open to candidates who bring strong experience in one area or advanced expertise in a specific discipline.
You’ll be working alongside a multidisciplinary referral team in a specialist-led environment, with a varied referral and emergency caseload that exposes you to complex surgical procedures across multiple disciplines. The hospital has a large team of veterinary professionals, including Diplomates and Certificate holders across surgery, ECC, internal medicine, cardiology, and imaging. It also trains surgery residents, ECC-specific interns, and rotating interns, and is equipped with 16-slice CT, dedicated soft tissue and orthopaedic theatres, a full endoscopy suite, digital radiography and ultrasonography, fluoroscopy, a fully stocked in-house laboratory, and an intensive care facility with 24/7 veterinary and nursing supervision.
