The rota follows a set pattern: Week 1, Saturday 15:00 to 21:00 and Sunday 09:00 to 19:00; Week 2 off; Week 3 the same; Week 4 off. A fair share of bank holidays is also included.

The role suits someone who can stay organised, reassuring and accurate while supporting both clients and veterinary staff in a fast-moving emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for clients by phone and in person during emergency situations.
• Greet clients, answer calls, book appointments and handle financial transactions.
• Complete clinic administration accurately to support the smooth running of the service.
• Share updates with veterinary staff about patients en route or clients needing help.
• Provide a reassuring, friendly presence and act as a link between clients and veterinary professionals.

Requirements

• Experience working with clients in a busy, customer-facing environment is implied by the role, but no specific qualification is stated.
