Weekend Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

Vets Now Worcester is seeking an Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join on a weekend-only fixed-term contract ending in July 2027. The rota is 1:4 weekends, with Saturday 1600 to 2200 and Sunday 0830 to 1830, plus a share of bank holidays.

This is a strong fit if you want to build ECC experience without moving into a permanent contract. You will be working in a supportive emergency setting, with central support teams available behind the scenes and committed clinical colleagues in clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care as a weekend Veterinary Surgeon at Vets Now Worcester.
• Work the scheduled 1:4 weekend rota, covering Saturday 1600 to 2200 and Sunday 0830 to 1830.
• Take a share of bank holiday shifts.
• Manage cases in an ECC environment with support from clinic colleagues and central support teams.

• Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care.
• Interest in weekend-only ECC work.
