Join a multi-site RVN role across Ayr, Irvine and Kilmarnock, with no OOH and a salary of up to £36,000 DOE. You'll be part of a supportive nursing team that values development, balance and collaboration.
This Registered Veterinary Nurse role covers three practices in Ayr, Irvine and Kilmarnock, giving you variety in your day-to-day work while keeping you closely connected to one wider team. The position offers full-time hours, with flexibility available and a minimum of 3 days per week.
You’ll be supported by a Clinical Nurse Manager and an RVN Business Partner, alongside nurses with specialist interests in acupuncture, pain management, behaviour and Schedule 3 surgical procedures. The work includes consults, anaesthetic monitoring and in-patient care, with modern equipment in place to help you deliver high-quality nursing.
The practices place real emphasis on mutual respect, open communication and work-life balance, and they describe a culture where every role has a voice. You’ll also be joining a 60-strong team across the three sites, with support available even when you are not in the same building.
This Vets4Pets opportunity sits across three practices in Ayrshire, led by four partners: two vets, one RVN and a practice manager. The wider team includes 14 vets, 14 RVNs, three GPD-trained Clinical Lead Vets and three Clinical Coach RVNs.
The practices say they are built around mutual respect, support, open communication and respect for individual needs. They also note that they tailor rotas and benefits to colleagues, rather than taking a one size fits all approach.
