This full-time registered veterinary nurse position offers a refreshing approach to scheduling. You'll work 40 hours per week with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments, though you'll cover a Saturday consulting shift (8:30am to 2pm). Hours are flexible and negotiable: choose between four longer days or five shorter days, with earliest start at 8:30am and latest finish at 7pm. The practice is RCVS accredited and located in central Ipswich, serving a small animal caseload with a real variety of cases.
You'll be part of a collaborative team of four vets, six RVNs, two VCAs, six receptionists, and a practice manager. The practice offers excellent diagnostic facilities including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, and in-house Idexx equipment (Catalyst, Procyte, and Sedivue). Cases include routine care and work with animals from the local rehoming centre. The practice holds cat and dog friendly status and is applying for Silver rabbit friendly award recognition.
