About the Role

This is a part-time position with weekend rotas shared fairly across the team. You'll be joining a thriving small animal practice where nurses are recognised as the heart of the operation. The Sevenoaks team is collaborative, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping colleagues achieve their career goals, whether you're stepping up to RVN or progressing further.

You'll perform varied nurse clinics and take on an integral clinical role in patient care. Your communication and organisational skills will help ensure high standards of care for both patients and clients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical nursing care across the practice, supporting patient treatment and recovery
• Conduct and lead nurse clinics, utilising your full range of nursing skills
• Support the smooth running of the practice to ensure excellent patient and client care standards
• Work collaboratively with 3 vets, 2 RVNs, 3 VCAs, and 3 receptionists to maintain team morale and efficiency
• Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
• Show interest in the practice as a business and how to motivate the team to achieve personal and practice goals

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification or Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN) working towards RVN
• Warm, compassionate, and people-oriented approach to patient and client care
• Excellent organisational skills and confidence in supporting team leadership
• Ability to build meaningful connections with colleagues and patients
• Willingness to work weekends on a fair rota basis
• Drive to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role and deliver high standards
