Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

White House Vets is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their well-established first opinion small animal practice in Malvern. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across varied shift patterns between 8am and 7:30pm, with just a 1-in-5 Saturday morning rota and absolutely no out-of-hours work—your weekends and evenings are genuinely yours.

As a smaller practice, White House Vets prioritises creating a positive working environment where every team member feels valued and supported. You’ll be part of a close-knit group of three veterinary surgeons, three RVNs, and two receptionists, all working collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities

• Surgical nursing and anaesthesia support
• Conducting nurse consultations
• Providing comprehensive inpatient care
• Contributing to reception and client care duties as needed
• Working across a varied caseload of both medical and surgical patients, building confidence and developing your clinical skills
• Taking responsibility for your nursing duties and using your initiative to deliver high-quality care

Requirements

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification
• Confidence across general nursing duties
• Genuine passion for patient care and building relationships with clients and their pets
• Proactive and motivated approach to your work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team

About the Practice

White House Vets is a well-established first opinion practice with a strong reputation for delivering high standards of patient and client care. The practice benefits from in-house laboratory facilities and a fully equipped operating theatre, supported by modern technology including low-dose, high frequency digital X-ray equipment, ultrasonography, and endoscopy. The team is led by three experienced veterinary surgeons alongside three registered veterinary nurses, two receptionists, and a director of practice.
