About the Role

All Creatures Orpington is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join their collaborative team. Based on the South East London/Kent border with excellent transport links, this is an ideal opportunity for a vet prioritising genuine work-life balance. The role offers flexibility to work across two branches—primarily consultations at the Animal Clinic and surgery-focused work at All Creatures—or concentrate solely on All Creatures if part-time hours suit you better.

This is a no out-of-hours, no on-call position with only a light weekend rota (1:4 Saturdays), giving you predictable time off. Whether you’re looking to establish yourself, build on existing experience, or pursue clinical interests, the practice actively supports vets pursuing further qualifications and certificates.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consultations and clinical care at the Animal Clinic branch
• Perform surgical procedures and clinical work at the All Creatures branch
• Maintain high standards of patient care across both sites
• Engage in CPD and professional development activities
• Contribute to a supportive, vet-led practice culture

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with current RCVS registration
• Clinical competence in general practice medicine and surgery
• A proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork
