About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term position offering the chance to work within one of the UK’s leading veterinary neurology services. You’ll be joining a close-knit, established team committed to excellence and supported by cutting-edge diagnostic and surgical facilities. The role is part-time, allowing flexibility alongside specialist practice.

Located in Winchester, Hampshire, Anderson Moores sits in a rural setting with excellent transport links to London, Southampton and Bournemouth airports. The practice offers easy access to the beautiful city of Winchester and the south coast’s recreational activities, making it an attractive base for both professional development and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist neurological consultation and diagnosis for complex referral cases
  • Lead and contribute to neurosurgical procedures using the hospital’s advanced surgical equipment
  • Conduct electrophysiological investigations and advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT)
  • Mentor and support the neurology resident and intern within the service
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on challenging clinical cases
  • Contribute to clinical excellence and evidence-based practice across the neurology service
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

  • ECVN diploma or ACVIM (Neurology) board certification, or residency training in veterinary neurology
  • MRCVS or FRCVS registration (or hold a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS)
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in small animal neurology
