🕐 Schedule & Rota

1:10 rota, seven nights on call with no daytime work. Dedicated night nurse in practice to triage and support patients. Continuity of care model—you see your own clients during on-call periods.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and confident small animal veterinarian who thrives in a friendly, well-supported environment. You’ll be joining Bay Vets in Lancaster (or Morecambe, depending on your preference), where you’ll enjoy a genuine mix of consultations and routine surgery without the chaos of excessive caseload pressure. Working alongside 4.5 FTE vets at Lancaster or 3 FTE vets at Morecambe, you’ll have plenty of experienced colleagues and certificate holders to collaborate with and learn from. Out-of-hours duties are shared on a manageable 1:10 rota—seven nights on call with no daytime shifts, plus a dedicated night nurse in practice to handle patient triage and support. The practice also values continuity of care, meaning you’ll see your own clients during OOH periods.
