Copeland Vets is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly, long-standing team in Ingleby Barwick. The role offers a varied first opinion caseload, supported by excellent diagnostic and surgical facilities, with strong clinical collaboration across neighbouring practices in Teesside.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week over 4 days. You will also take part in a Saturday rota from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and there is no out-of-hours requirement. Flexible working discussions are welcomed.
Copeland Veterinary Surgeons is a family-based small animal practice in Ingleby Barwick, opened by Penny and Derek Copeland in 1999. The practice says it was designed by Penny and Derek and has won the Veterinary Business Journal award for practice design of the year.
The team includes 2 vets, 4 nurses, an ACA and experienced reception staff, with additional cross-site clinical support from neighbouring Teesside practices. Facilities include digital x-ray, including dental, a separate theatre and dental suite, laparoscopic spay equipment, a modern endoscopy system, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, and separate cat and dog wards. Nurse-led clinics are actively supported and encouraged.
