Join a supportive small animal team where your diary is structured to allow proper time for admin, case work and development. This role offers up to £65,000 FTE, with CPD and certificates supported, plus part-time considered for the right person.
This Veterinary Surgeon role is based in a friendly, experienced team at Vets for Pets Middlesbrough Cleveland Park, where development is genuinely part of the day-to-day culture. The practice has a busy and varied caseload, with room for you to build on existing clinical interests or develop your own at a steady pace.
Your diary is arranged to give you time for results, notes and case work ups, rather than rushing from one consult to the next. The role is ideally full-time, although part-time can be considered, and occasional sole charge is required. Saturdays are shared on a rota, Sundays and Bank Holidays are closed, and if you work a Saturday you get the next weekend off as a long weekend.
Vets for Pets Middlesbrough Cleveland Park is described as a practice with a positive learning culture and a family feel, built around teamwork and mutual support. The team includes 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, a practice manager and a friendly reception team, alongside strong clinical interests in exotics, soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.
The practice was opened by JVPs and Veterinary Surgeons Sophie and Andy, who wanted a workplace where colleagues could rely on each other and continue developing their own clinical interests. The team has grown alongside its client base, while keeping a focus on clinical standards, staff development and a welcoming atmosphere.
